Cliff Lee Cruises
Cliff Lee completely dominated the Yankees tonight. The whole lineup was completely off balance. You've got to think the Yankees are praying that Charlie Manuel will go with a four man rotation. CC Sabathia starting 3 of a possible 7 games looked like a huge advantage for the Yankees. Watching tonight's game, it looks like Lee can completely neutralize Sabathia. How about that second home run from Utley? Has it landed?

I think that the Phillies game one was huge. It puts the Yankees in a bad postion. The Philles have a better offense, deeper in starting pitching, and their bullpen has been pretty tough in the playoffs compared to the regular season. It would great to see Arod melt down. I did notice that there was no comments in regarding to the Angels losing the ALCS. Did we forget about that?
ReplyDeleteA Rod with 3 K golden sombrero in game 1 was nice to see. The Angels loss to the Yankees following a sweep of the Boston Red Sox was not how they wanted to end the season. The Yankees proved to have too much offense for them.
ReplyDeleteCorrection. Not a golden sombrero for A Rod, but now with 6 strikeouts after 2 games we can call it whatever we want.
ReplyDeleteThe Yankees out played the Angels. They were overmatched. Therefore overrated, they were lucky to be there in the first place.
